Sunny & Media (“Sunny &”, “we”, “us”) runs sunnyand.com. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Newsletter signups. The email address you give us for The Golden Hour, plus the date you signed up. We use it to send the newsletter and nothing else.
- Contact and pitch messages. The name, email, and message you submit through our contact form, so we can reply.
- Advice column letters. The alias, email address, and letter you submit to Sunny & Love. See the section below — these are handled differently.
- Basic analytics. Aggregate request data from our CDN (pages viewed, referring site, general region). It is not tied to your identity and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Advice column letters
Letters sent to Sunny & Love are published anonymously, under the alias you choose. We never publish your real name or your email address. Your email is used only to let you know if your letter runs, and to reply if we need to clarify something.
Letters are stored in our own private storage and are readable only by the Sunny & editorial team. We may lightly edit a published letter for length and clarity, and we will change identifying details when a letter would otherwise be recognizable. If you would like your letter deleted, email hello@sunnyand.com and we will remove it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers to run the site — hosting and content delivery, and an email platform for the newsletter — and they process data only on our instructions.
Your choices
Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete anything we hold about you by emailing hello@sunnyand.com.
Children
Sunny & is written for adults, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
